“I love creating mechanics and seeing things come to life. The fundamental and simple joy of realising ideas and the challenging brain squeezing process, that you undergo while problem-solving motivates me. For me it is like Christmas Eve every time a new, freshly machined component arrives – at least when it fits”, says Sami Frølund Jarrar, Lead Mechanical Engineer at Spin Robotics.

His job is to design and develop the mechanical side of screwdriving solutions and conceive new ideas for future products. At Spin Robotics their main goal is to make it safe, simple and easy to apply screwdriving applications to collaborative robots. Cobots have opened a whole new world of opportunities making automation accessible to a much broader market, and at Spin Robotics they believe in making a difference on the workshop floor and relieving people from repetitive tasks. “As an engineer, the place to be is within robotics and automation. Especially here in Odense. We are at the forefront of an ever-growing field, and that is really exiting”.
