“Before, robotics was only for engineers — but nowadays, because of the technology we have, everybody is able to make a simple pick-and-place application,” says Rafael Moreno Aranda from OnRobot. Rafael works as a user experience engineer and one of his tasks is to design the user interface and ensure that the applications are intuitive and easy to use. OnRobot delivers plug-and-produce end-of-arm tooling for collaborative applications that help manufacturers gain the full advantage of collaborative and lightweight industrial robots. “What I like a lot about this job is that you can actually create great things out of great ideas. I think it’s pretty cool that I can work on making technology available to everyone,” says Rafael.
