“You have to be very innovative in your solutions. One way of doing that is having the willingness to fail and the willingness to take chances and try out new things. We often say, fail, but fail fast, and then learn something from it,” says Simon Søndergård Taber, Mechanical Engineer at Universal Robots. At Universal Robots, Simon and his team are dedicated to bringing flexible and easy-to-use robots to businesses all over the world. Simon works in the R&D department where new products are developed and existing products improved. Every day, he has the opportunity to innovate and research new technologies. “I think it’s great working in the robotics industry in Odense. There’s a lot of companies within robotics and I have a lot of friends working at robotics companies here. It’s great to share the same passion,” says Simon.
